A Little Prayer (2023) 93% B EDIT “Although A Little Prayer may not revolutionize the family drama genre, the remarkable performances by David Strathairn and Jane Levy ensure that it fits seamlessly into the style and essence of what the genre offers.” – InSession Film Aug 29, 2025 Full Review Oh, Hi! (2025) 64% D+ EDIT “At one point, Isaac proclaims to Iris, “The problem is that I was too nice?” And I think the same could be said about Oh, Hi! as well.” – InSession Film Aug 8, 2025 Full Review The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie (2024) 86% B EDIT “This well-made and fun film will serve as a reminder to fans old and new that these characters are still here, and they’re still as looney as ever.” – InSession Film Mar 12, 2025 Full Review The Monkey (2025) 77% B- EDIT “Even if The Monkey won’t be one of the scariest films of the year, it definitely will make a case for being one of the more entertaining ones; a film I could see being a Halloween watch-party staple. ” – InSession Film Feb 27, 2025 Full Review Mother, Couch (2023) 40% D+ EDIT “McGregor’s performance and Bear’s score highlight what could have been original and worthwhile. I appreciate Niclas Larsson’s ambition in his debut feature, while Mother, Couch falls just short due to its lack of focus and emptiness in terms of themes.” – InSession Film Jul 25, 2024 Full Review Haunted Mansion (2023) 38% D- EDIT “It's frustrating, and confusing when a film with this star power manages to crash and burn as hard as Haunted Mansion does.” – InSession Film Jul 28, 2023 Full Review Longest Third Date (2023) 67% 3/5 EDIT “Longest Third Date is a beautiful example that maybe not everything was so bad during the pandemic. In a time that was dour and hopeless, both Matt and Khani used a terrible situation to find love in one another.” – Ready Steady Cut Apr 24, 2023 Full Review Quasi (2023) 41% 0.5/5 EDIT “One of the most unfunny movies in quite some time.” – Ready Steady Cut Apr 24, 2023 Full Review John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023) 94% A EDIT “Even at a lengthy 169 minutes, Chapter 4 never feels slow and never lets up as this is easily the biggest and most ambitious [Chad] Stahelski has been in his decade of making these.” – AwardsWatch Mar 16, 2023 Full Review White Noise (2022) 64% 4.5/5 EDIT “Top to bottom, White Noise is a hypnotic and engaging look into a profoundly human fear: death.” – Ready Steady Cut Dec 15, 2022 Full Review Nanny (2022) 91% 3.5/5 EDIT “It’s a true visual achievement that shows great promise for Jusu’s future as a writer/director.” – Ready Steady Cut Dec 15, 2022 Full Review Violent Night (2022) 74% B EDIT “Harbour’s commitment to this movie and the role is exactly what makes Violent Night a fun and bloody holiday treat.” – AwardsWatch Nov 30, 2022 Full Review Aftersun (2022) 96% A EDIT “The ambition in [Wells's] script would be hard for any actor to pull off, but the beating heart of Aftersun comes in the form of its two leads, whose chemistry together could fool anyone into thinking they had known each other their entire life.” – AwardsWatch Oct 18, 2022 Full Review Beyond Infinity: Buzz and the Journey to Lightyear (2022) 4/5 EDIT “The history of the character might be more interesting than the making of Lightyear, but nevertheless, this is an exciting and insightful behind-the-scenes.” – Ready Steady Cut Jun 11, 2022 Full Review Marry Me (2022) 61% B+ EDIT “Wilson and Lopez have so much natural charisma as performers that you could just put a camera in a room with the two of them and something exciting or charming will happen.” – AwardsWatch Feb 10, 2022 Full Review Prayers for the Stolen (2021) 96% B EDIT “Prayers for the Stolen is a powerfully moving and emotional story about the importance of friendship in tumultuous times.” – AwardsWatch Nov 4, 2021 Full Review The Humans (2021) 92% A EDIT “The Humans is the most haunting film of the year.” – AwardsWatch Oct 11, 2021 Full Review
